Robert Edwards, Esq. - Contact
Robert Edwards was recently admitted to the State Bar Association of Arizona but has been practicing law in Minnesota since 1978. During that time, he has represented individuals in the state courts throughout Minnesota and, additionally, in the Federal District Court for the State of Minnesota. Mr. Edwards joined Wilcox Legal Group, P.C. in 2002.
On June 18, 1991, Mr. Edwards became the first attorney in Anoka County (Minnesota) to be certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by both the National Board of Trial Advocacy and by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Currently, less than ½ of 1% of all attorneys in the state of Minnesota share this distinction. Certification as a Civil Trial Specialist provides assurance to the consumer that his or her attorney is skilled in the nuances of representing a plaintiff in court. Litigation is often times compared to war. In litigation, as in war, the side with the greatest skill and experience is usually able to avoid conflict because the opposition is not willing to risk the consequences against such a capable opponent.
Mr. Edwards is rated "AV" (preeminent) by Martindale-Hubbell; a distinction shared by only 14% of attorneys nationwide. Mr. Edwards is a member of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. |
